My son-in-law just purchased a cast iron skillet with the name TECUMSEH on the bottom of it. What is this?

Not much known about them. Best guess is from a foundry in Tecumseh, MI.

I've run across a couple on ebay and no one seems to be able to tell me what they are. As Doug already mentioned, I'm just assuming it is the Michigan foundry.
