Cleaning a Griswold #13 skillet

I was looking at this skillet on ebay and wondering to myself if this person used a cup brush to clean this valuable skillet. Then I scrolled to the fifth picture in the ad and saw in the upper left hand side of the picture you can actually see the drill and the broom and dustpan used for the mess. :icon_rofl:

I am going to keep watching it. I am curious to see if it will command the $1000 these skillets have been going for.

I couldn't see the pics of this, I guess it's already been sold. I just got done cleaning and seasoning one just like it, I didn't use power tools, just Etank and 0000 steel wool. It came out pretty nice, I would show pics but I need my wife to help me get the pic process down.

I just don't get it. $630.00 for a pitted damaged pan.
