No idea of value but it looks like a fun little project.

Regardless of whether you are buying or selling it the "value" is what you personally are willing to set a price on for an item that interest you.
As a collector try to determine if all the parts are restorable and in tact if possible. I frequently see items as such, that are modified to a degree where the authenticity has little value. The process of restoring such an item as pictured will take time and hard work but when finished would become functional and a talking piece to be proud of.
Whether it be $50 or $500 only you can make that decision.
