Cruddy Score

Got these four skillets earlier this month at a flea market in Kentucky for a total of $16. Good thing I didn't have to pay extra for the crud. I just pulled them from the lye bath this evening to see how they were progressing and for the first time was able to I.D them to some degree. Attached photo shows from top center (#3 Vollrath maybe??) left middle (CHF or Late Favorite, diamond w/ #5 inside it) right middle (W.W. #3, 1053Z) bottom center (BSR Red Mt. series 7 E )

top center hard to see the handle but volrath has a long center rib from pan to hang hole and favorite has a short center rib about half the distance.

I think people forget how much new pans cost. Throw collector value out the window. If those said Taiwan it would of been a great deal. Where can you get a usable pan for $4?! Nice score!

Thanks everyone for the replies. He actually started out asking $5 ea. and the more I set aside the cheaper they became. I got a pressed steel #8 also with the bunch that was in great shape that I want to turn into a designated pan for my spaghetti sauce. The pan that I identified as a Vollrath may or may not be one. I will be able to tell more once cleaned. Love to get the really cruddy ones and see what they are once cleaned. It's like opening a present that you have no idea what it is but excited non the less.
