Did Lodge Make a Hibachi Grill for Crate & Barrel?

I found a hibachi grill that has Crate & Barrel on the draft door. It looks identical to the Lodge hibachi. Does anyone know if the grill is made by Lodge?

My Lodge Outpost Grill was bought from Crate & Barrel but it was a Lodge.

Thanks!

Lodge has produced branded pieces for a variety of outfits, Sportsman's Warehouse, Cracker Barrel, etc. If the one you saw was identical in all respects but the door, no reason not to assume Lodge.

From the pictures, it looks identical to Lodge and I will get a better look at it tonight when I pick it up.

It's covered with rust and I can't wait to start the restoring it!

Thanks for the info!

Yes they did. I picked one up at Goodwill that was in new condition. It had never been put together. It didn't have the cardboard box but still had the instructions and a recipe book all "Lodge" The ash door was the only thing labeled "Crate and Barrel" I have an old Outpost grill but it was in rough shape. I hope they bring them back into production. Or at least the grates!

Russell,

Good morning!

Thanks for confirming!

The Lodge stamp is underneath the grill.

I don't care for the door that has Crate & Barrel on it, so I just ordered, from Lodge, the door that has Lodge on it for $8.

Also, over the weekend, I scored a rare Atlanta Stove Ware grill with the fish fryer for $15! It was completed and in perfect shape...with the exception of rust! The seller apparently didn't know what he had. His posting read, Brown and gray steel grill for $15." Let the restoration begin... I struck gold! ha!

WOW... that is gold... be sure and post pics of your 'sportsmen' collection when you get them all cleaned up! I've been watching for one of the older sportsmen grills but have never seen a deal like that... I agree the seller had no idea what they had (for the grill or the fryer pan!)

Fantastic deal! Thanks for sharing how much the door cost. I'll have to get myself one. I wish I could get parts for my "Outpost grill" I bought it used and the two racks are in rough shape. But the main part the bowl is in great shape and I also have the stand and it's also in great shape. The humidity around here in Eastern NC is hard on cast iron. It's amazing this thing is even still around. I probably paid too much but figured I'd never see another one and I haven't yet! I paid $37.00.
