Do I have a Find? - Spider Pan

I just bought this today at the flea market for $5. The only thing on this pan is a large gate mark. Anyone knows any thing about this spider pan? Age, Maker? Value?

Also, should I season it? It is worth using for camping?

A spider is more like a regular skillet with feet and a long handle. What you have there is more like a posnet. See this thread:

I don't know exactly what your pan is. I have had a number of them and like to use them occasionally for serving dishes for mashed potatoes or whatever. I have never heard them referred to as a posnet which is would be exactly like this pan:

Your pan may actually be a 'spider' but I am not sure.
