Does Anybody Recognize This Lid?

Those do not usually have a raised size number on the top. I'm thinking domestic, but uncertain as to maker.

I'm leaning a bit toward KevinE on this one. Besides the raised 8 on top it appears to be a copy of the BSR "Century Series" almost.. If it were a BSR #8 the inner circle of dimples would only be six(6)...the next tow rings of dimples would be twelve (12) and the two outer rings would be twenty-four (24) dimples. This pattern would be indicative of automated molding plus it would have the size & dia. incised on the underside instead of just the (A) as yours has. The raised 8 looks genuine but that would have been easy to copy. I'm not sure if Atlanta Stove Works ever made a lid as such but if they did I have no data to prove or disprove it authenticity.
May look for an Asian made #8 skillet and see if it fits. It would probably still be a good cooker once seasoned.
Good luck.

David....May have found the pattern for the top part of your lid. In our CIC Resources section you will find a section for no name iron. If you scroll down to Griswold there is a "Iron Mountain" lid that has a very similar look with a raised 8 on it. I'm thinking the duplicator may have used this pattern for the top and the BSR pattern for the underside of the lid. Here is the link if you want to check it out.
