But they are wonderful. These CI tongs are the best.
A great tool for cooking meats. They can easily turn a sliver of an almond or an 8# pork roast. The precision of tweezers and the spread of ice tongs. Looking constantly I found a pair on eBay every 2 1/2 to 3 years and about half had the finial broken off. The finial is marked LS for light service but they are a serious set of tongs. Just don't drop them. They seem to be available only in the Ohio area.
If you find a pair, buy them. At any price with or without the finial.
