Easy off

I think as long as it has lye in it, it will work. I personally use Easy Off. Saving a few pennies or saving elbow grease.
 
It (Great Value yellow cap) appears to have a handful of other ingredients besides sodium hydroxide (lye), but then so does Easy Off Heavy Duty, which is widely accepted and recommended. The main thing to look for is sodium hydroxide (NaOH) as the main active ingredient and not other features like "fume free" and "fresh scent". I will say one thing about the Easy Off HD, though and that is it is foamier and sticks to the iron better than some of the cheaper stuff, such as some I got from Dollar General years ago. It was thinner and sort of just runs off.
 
Your question lit a fire under me, lol.....I have a Wapak #10 and #6 that need stripped, but Im good at putting stuff off. As of now, they are both coated with Esay Off and bagged up......thank you for getting me to do it, lol!
