I apologize. I have never used eBay and can't find the link to what CI sold for on eBay. I recall it has been discussed, but can't find it. please enlighten.

Thanks.

Not sure about a link here, but if you go on ebay and type in the item you are looking for it will pull up the items currently for sale. Go to the left of the screen, click on the box that says "Completed Auctions" and it will bring up all the items you searched for that whose auctions have ended. If the item was sold, the price will show up in green. If the price is black, it did not get any bids or did not sell.

it also depends on what kind of device you are using to access ebay... phone, tablet, pc... could be different depending on the app.

on a pc, using a normal browser (I use chrome) you should see the 'advanced' big after the search box.

click on 'advanced' and another screen will pop up to allow you to further define your search criteria... in the second section there is a check box for 'sold listings'... if you click it (so it shows as selected) then whatever you search for in the search box will only show 'sold' items... to go back to searching current items, you will have to uncheck the box for 'sold listings'.

or as doug D mentioned, the ebay search on this site is easier... just select the bit about completed/sold listings.

If on your phone and such go to the bottom of the page and select full site not mobile view. Then look on the left side of the page for completed auction

Ebay is a tricky animal, and not something to jump in quickly, time and research and patience are your friend. Doug D might not say it out right but he never dives in quickly and if he does no one sees it. The iron is there and if you have patience enough to wait till someone posts it wrong, you can get the deals. Just think different. Think novice. Search things that someone who doesn't know about iron would post. A number four might be listed as the measured width of the pan cuz the number is covered in crud. Search outside the search terms on ebay and find deals. I have found them but often times it is searching things that others aren't entering in there search terms. I have found that the most important thing to take mind of is the sellers history of shipping. It is very important that they have a history of shipping fragile stuff carefully. Mostly iron. New sellers of iron will send it not knowing it will break.
