Electrolysis???

I have a manual charger but it is a 2 amp or 40amp that’s the only 2 selections it has .... I’m assuming that 2 amp is not enough and 40amp is too much . Any help would be appreciated, thanks

A 2 amp with good connections will work as well as a 6 or 10 with marginal connections. Using lye first to to the heavy lifting will help in that regard. If not, first use a S/S medium stiff wire brush on the handle or other point on the pan where you intend to attach the clamp to improve metal to metal contact.

I have one of the manual chargers that switches between 6 v and 12 v and 2, 10 and 30 amps... and I usually just use the 2 amp setting... it works fine (but as Doug suggested, I always do lye bath first so there usually isn't much gunk to deal with by the electrolysis).

Hi, new here.
My experience is with woodworking machines. 2 amps will work. More amps make more bubble but don't necessarily result in faster cleaning.
