Enameled Cast Iron French Fondue.....

Perfect for Baseball playoffs....

Found this today at Good Will... thought it was worth both sharing
and the $8.00 purchase price. Kind of a retro color. Good quality
enameling . "Made in France". I doubt if Le Creuset or even vintage.
I couldn't locate any of the gel slo-burn discs so I went with ol' dependable
Sterno.

(I sourced on-line a "Melting Pot" (chain) recipe for Fondue.... extra
sharp cheddar / Swiss Emmetel with garlic/mustard powder/pepper
and thickened with flour. (beer as the base liquid). Served with red
beans and rice. Dipped artisan bread, andouille sausage, and Granny
Smith apple slices... washed down with Stella :icon_thumbsup:). Next
time chocolate. 8-)

Anybody have one of these ?

Now, the rest of the story....

After some deep interrogating of the internet... this fondue set
(even though "Made in France") is sold by IKEA , designed by
Kristian Krough as part of the "Senior" line. Comes with a 25
year warranty. BTW...I had it set up incorrectly.... the base was
upside down...thus the heating element was also set up
incorrectly. Original pricing... $59. I'll get it right next time. :p
