any one have an idea of what an eire 824 eccentric pot goes for. I found one at an antique store down here in Florida he wants 300 for it which I know there's no way anyone would pay that but I was just curious. good shape the wood handles good and the stamping is nice.

well went back and offered them 75 nust because and he looked at me like I was crazy then proceeded to tell me how rare it was. I've been in over priced stores before but this one definitely takes the cake. my favorite was the reduced section that had a Wagners ware 1791 pan for 111.00.

They seem to be pretty rare. There is another one out there for $300. If you want one and are under 25 yo you may have time to find one in the wild in good condition for under $100.

yes they are rare, this is only the second one ive seen. the other one on the internet for 300 is on wrinkledwillytreasures.

P/n 824 is the #8 low eccentric kettle. While it does not appear to be shown in either RB or BB, the 7, 8, and 9 regular eccentrics are valued, at the time of publication of the 5th ed. BB, at $75 for any or them.

I seen the no. 7 eccentric kettle/pot photo in the bb on page 75. that's where I had gotten the $75.00 from.
