Does an Erie 7 have a cooking surface of about 8 inches?

Early 20th century Griswold catalogs give the bottom diameter of a #7 skillet as 8-1/4". I would expect on average an Erie to be about that as well.

I just measured my ERIE #7 and came up with approximately 8 1/8" cooking surface - 9 3/4" across the top lip.
