Fairly large CI Auction

On line only auction for a lot of cast iron pieces from banks to figurines to cookware. Not a lot of information on the cookware. I know the auction company personally and Todd would mention any discrepancy he saw. I do not know the actual owners of the items so don't know how far they would go on that end.

If this is put in the wrong forum, please correct me and move it please.

Stopped in at a couple antique shops on a road trip yesterday. Both had CI but nothing that jumped out at me. Picked up a heating plate or tray that is in the E-tank now. Rest was the usual corn stick pans of various sizes, several fry pans. After looking at Japan, Korea and Taiwan I quit looking at them. At least they weren't all painted nice and shiny to make them look attractive.

Any one buy anything on the auction. I got a few items but price were real high on a lot of items. Ty Cobb cast iron bank for $175. On Griswold #12 skillet with heat ring and small slant logo for $300.00. Coupe other were in the $200 to $275 range. Favorite #12 with heat ring went for $225. Waffle Irons were reasonable for the most part. I ended up with 3, a Wagner #8, Griswold #8 in the $45 range and one other had the ring repaired for $16. Few other skilliets, etc. 2 Rope makers. One gear drive type for $60. Th other was a lot older was wood except for the hooks and pins.
