FAKE or RECAST Wapak?

Hi. I'd like to call your attention to an item on Ebay. The item is a Wapak Indian #8 skillet, the item number is 292257722861. Look at the handle. It doesn't look too good to this Rank-Amateur:redface: Perhaps it's a repair?

I'd call that the real deal. Some flashing in the hanging hole is not uncommon for any maker.

Thank you, Doug. What caught my eye was the difference between the No. 8 Wapak I questioned, and the No. 8 posted on our CIC Reproductions/Counterfeits page. The rest of that eBay pan looks great!:tasty:

Remember, the Wapak Indian #8s are seen with two variations of the handle.

Well, I'll just chalk it up to ignorance and bad sight:shootself:, but I can't find anything that resembles the bottom side of that handle:covri: - not on Trademarks and Logos nor Repro's, although the top side looks fine. I'll defer to my bad eyesight... Thank you, Doug!
