So I started a new job late last month. On the second or third day I overheard a couple guys talking about cast iron skillets. They were both talking about how much they hate them. Well I had to chime in. Got one guy convinced to try using them the right way, and offered some easier cleaning tips. Other one was set on getting rid of them. He is going to bring them in and I will look them over. I fear he has had a bad experience with current production iron. I’ll take him one of my well seasoned 3 notches to use. Ive had good luck getting people converted after they use some of my vintage stuff. We will see how all that goes.
Other note, I was walking past my bosses wood shop that is on the property and noticed a Wagner Ware breakfast skillet leaning in the window. I’m going to see if I can talk him out of that. You never know what you are going to find and where.
