found Favorite scotch pan with lid

Just cleaned the bottom of a pan that had enough crud that there was no markings visible. I cleaned the bottom and it was marked with Favorite Ware.
Is the lid matching? The lid is marked with a 7 with a star in the middle. This is my first scotch pan and would like to know what I have.Favorite 1.jpg

Scotch and Yankee bowls were not supplied with lids. They were made for cooking food requiring constant stirring. The lid "may" be Lodge.

Can you post a pic of the bottom with the favorite ware?

Is that for sure on the American side? I've seen a couple of lidded ones for sale in Canada, wondered if they were Canadian.

A pic wouldn't help. The marking is hard to read from a pic. It has favorite on top. Ware toward the bottom. 3 at the bottom. The lid is super easy to clean and the pot is is taking a lot of work. I feel the lid is not a match to the scotch pot.

Interestingly, the Canadian company of Chown and Cunningham sort of "adopted" the trademark of Favorite stove and range in the US. There has to be a link somewhere, but I can find none.

Just curious is all.

There's a reason for me asking, and this would be it... The Diamond G makes it post Chown and Cunningham.
