Griswold cast aluminum waffle maker

Found this at a rummage sale, cast aluminum. Never seen anything like it. Curious if someone can tell me the year this was made, if it's a commercial or residential unit, and a guesstimate on value in the retail market. Any help very much appreciated.

A late 1920s Griswold electric appliance catalog shows similar units with the same legs, but not this square waffle model.

I have never seen one of these. Looks to me to be Commercial......looks hard to use too, lol....nice find!

The catalog page says "for hotel and restaurant use". I wouldn't presume from one catalog that the square version was more rare than the round; being nearly 100 years old and produced for a limited market makes them all rare.
