Here is my little not-very-collectible-but-sure-is-lightweight #7 sbl Griswold with grooved handle, fresh out of the oven and ready to go!

Yep, I was definitely expecting to see something scrumptious to eat. Okay, that #7 Griswold looks pretty good too. Those thin walls are just the cat's meow, for sure. Oh, and I love the way you use those skewers. Now I know what to do with mine :sleepy2:
 
That looks like a fine "user" skillet; nicely restored, ready to go on the stove. I really think collectible is overrated sometimes; fixing food is the point with these utensils anyway!

Looks good!! How many coats of seasoning did you put on it? And what do you use for seasoning?

Eldon, I seasoned it with Crisco at 500 degrees for one hour 3 X. I initially heated to 250 and applied the Crisco; then let it cool to congealing. Wipe, wipe, wipe; heat to 250 and hold for 15 min. Then up to 500 for the hour and repeat.
