I am restoring this gate marked # 9 for the history center in my town any help with identity of maker would be great

Some might guess a copy from an Erie skillet. Need to see a good clear shot in good light of the entire bottom including handle.

I would say a copy/recast from a 2nd or early 3rd series Erie is likely.
