Where ghost marks visible at time of sale or did they appear with use? You would think with product recognition being important in any market, the logo would be first concern. I would think most people would think that if the manufacturer can't even get the logo right then there may be a problem with the product quality. How many are out there? Hundreds? Thousands? Pans were relatively expensive and to make and sell seconds on a large scale appears counter productive. My ghost pans work great, but I would not have bought a "defective" pan at Sears or Acme.
