I've been looking for the glass lid that goes to the Wagner chicken fryer I found a few weeks ago. A couple of days ago I found this one. It's the wrong size for the #8 chicken fryer, but it fits on my #6 Wagner skillet (#1056), so for $2 I figured it was worth getting it.
It is a C6 "Made in USA". I'm guessing it is replacement lid made for a Wagner? (since it doesn't have the Wagner logo). Would it be considered a "reproduction"?
Edit: BTW, I learned a lesson with this find. As I was leaving the little antique store, the owner asked what I had been looking for. I told him about the lid and he said, "I've got a few random lids in here somewhere." He found them inside of an a kitchen hutch. I would have never thought to open the doors and find anything hidden in there. I always assumed they were empty. Why hide something you are trying to sell? Anyway, in the future, I will ask store owners for help finding lids.
