Try: Going over it again with a stainless steel scrubber or brush. Electrolysis, if you are set up. SCO will also reportedly remove it (no bail handles, tho).
Bill, I accidentally did the same thing a few years back. If you hit it lightly Doug's recommendations should work fine. Unfortunately if you got any in small grooves or pits I have found it very difficult if not impossible to remove.
