Hello all. I am curious what would be the value of this set. I've searched for past sales on ebay for the numbers on the skillet and lid. The best I could find is a few different ones that sold for $200-400. The problem is a can't find another chrome plated one. Do you guys think the chrome plating will add to the value or make it less valuable? The bottom and inside of skillet should clean up good with most plating intact. The top is flawless.

Plating is usually valued over bare iron only if intact (read: like new, unused). Having said that, it's a lot to expect something as old as these are to be in absolutely pristine condition. Even when brand new, plated items have discoloration at the points where the electrodes were attached. That one looks to be in decent condition, and often the bottoms like that will clean up with lye and x-fine steel wool. The inside may be a different matter, though.

Thanks for the reply. I suppose it all depends how it cleans up. I haven't been able to find another one like it so it does have that going for it.
