Griswold Chrome

Bought a Griswold #8 Chrome plated skillet #704R today for what I think was a steal ($28) along with a Wagner pie logo 1053F ($46) and a #5 no name for ($20). I'm thinking the Wagner was a bit over-priced but I didn't have one in my collection and this is the first one I've seen at the local shops here. The #5 handle appears to be Wagner but it is only a guess. Attached are a few pictures for any comments. My 71 year old cousin said she couldn't find the Griswold chrome or the #3 Wagner pie-logo in the BB or the RB to do any price comparisons and since I do not own either I just speculated the price range was somewhat in line.
I have been checking my thread on the "hammered #9" and see that no one has made any comments so I assume it is just a unknown at this point?

The BB puts the #3 pie logo $25-35. I think I have nearly a dozen, but didn't give more than about $15-20 for any one of them. They are the most often-seen of the pie logos. $28 for the chrome #8 is good if the plating is largely intact, cooking surface notwithstanding. The unmarked does look like an older Wagner.

Thanks for the reply....I knew the pie-logo was high but would rather support the local shops than the e-bay buzzards. The chrome on the Griswold is all intact with an exception of one spot about the size of a pencil eraser at the 12 O'clock position. Any guess date on the un-marked Wagner? I keep a journal on every piece I buy and try to enter all the data that I can. Hopefully my children and grand kids will someday appreciate my efforts.

There is a flea market on elderige st close by 290 you can find those 3,5,8 unmarked pices for less than 10 dlls good luc hunting and welcome to the site
