Griswold craziness

I just went on Rubylane.com to see what kind of CI treasures they might have. I had to laugh when I read this. Why do people call 1/2 inch of filth seasoning and if her pan is so rare why does she have 3 of them? I don't expect they will be flying off the shelf anytime soon.

Even through the crud, you can still see the gang mold numeral just outside the heat ring at 6 o'clock, not consistent with genuine examples.

You can also find them on ebay all the time. I'm almost tempted to buy one just for the weirdness factor, but they always price them like they are real. If I saw one for what they're worth, maybe $5, I might pick on up to photograph next to a real one.


EDIT: Hahaha, looking at the price, it's the same seller... Different FAKE skillet. Nice!
