Griswold DO Lids

I now have two Griswold 1278 dutch ovens. The first one I bought came with what I believe is a SBL clean easy lid, the second i just picked up at an estate sale with no lid, however I did buy an unmarked griswag glass lid that they had at the same sale that fits it perfectly. can anyone tell me what iron lids are "correct" for the 1278 DO so i can try to find one.
heres a pic of the one DO and the clean easy lid.

so i did some research and from what i find the 1288 lid would be correct for the 1278 oven? the clean easy lid i have is marked 1288, but it was referenced as a SBL and a later lid than the DO by Doug when I purchased it. Is there a LBL version of the 1288 or characteristics to look for on a 1288 lid that would put it more in the same vintage as the 1278 ovens?

Page 67 of the Blue Book shows the 1278 oven with a lid that has a recessed area around the handle but doesn't show the underside or list the p/n. The only lid I've ever seen like this sold recently on ebay and it appears to have small logo Griswold markings under the clean easy finish.

The BB also puts a 1950 date on this oven which is after they started using the small logo. Some 1278 ovens have fully marked bottoms with a small logo which is pretty unusual. It's possible some of the large logo pots were sold with small logo lids.

I believe the only 1288 lid with a large logo on the underside is the one with the Gris. logo on the top. The same page in the book shows a 1298 deep oven from 1950 with the same markings as the 1278 that has this lid. Assuming that is a correct match then it should be a match for the 1278 also.
I've got a 1278 that needs a lid too and have been trying to decide which one to look for. I'll be selling mine so I also wanted one with a large logo to match.

so it looks to me like the difference between the large and small logo 1288 lids is the large logo is almost the same diameter on the underside of the lid as the first basting ring, and has the raised griswold logo on top of lid, the small logo lid has space between logo and first basting ring, and no markings on the lid top, and ive also seen the small logos with and without the clean easy coating, am i correct in this?

also if this 1278 dutch oven is from the 50's as the BB states, and thats after the small logo was used, could i assume any of them could technically be correct?

Yes, your correct on your small and large logo lid descriptions.
I believe your also correct on the assumption a small logo lid may have been used.
There are also porcelain coated large logo 1278 ovens that came with glass lids so it's possible they were used on the uncoated ones too.
