If any of you are in need of a lid for your Griswold #7 D.O. I came across one yesterday at a local shop I frequently visit. Part number 2604, Slant Griswold. Erie underneath the Griswold symbol. The pic shown on P 64 BB is the same as the D.O. lid I found but for #7 not #6.
I think they were asking $50 for it but the owner said they would discount it. Don't have a picture of it but it was in good shape...Just needed cleaning and a good seasoning. If you all are like me you have a good piece that just needs the remaining missing piece to make a first class piece. Send me a private message and I will get the shops contact info and you can deal directly with them. Not sure if they are capable of shipping direct or not.
BTW...I have no interest in this....Just trying to help someone out should you need the lid.
