Griswold Lid To ???

This is this morning's yard sale find. They didn't have the bottom piece. With all the Griswold and other cast iron I have, I'm sure I can use it, but would like to know what it originally went to (a chicken roaster? Dutch oven? skillet?) and if you could give me an idea of the date it was made. It's hard to read, but says No. 9 at the top. Thanks!

Griswold DO lids wouldn't have pour lip cover "ears". 1099 is the p/n for a high cover for a #9 regular skillet. The small logo dates it after 1939.

Thank you, Doug! It's a close but not perfect fit for another old skillet, so it can be paired with that one temporarily while I look for a #9 Griswold skillet, preferably with the same logo.
