Is using electrolysis on 1920 Griswold skillet lids toxic? The lid in question is both worn considerably and has rust. I prefer the ease of electrolysis to that of vinegar, but don't want to kill my neighbors. Thanks in advance.
If rust has not undermined existing plating, it should not be a problem. Not sure where the toxicity part of the question comes from; perhaps you have misinterpreted comments elsewhere referring to stainless steel anodes and electrolysis being a problem (they aren't).
