Made a road trip Saturday and came home with this beauty. It was just rusty and rough enough to make me question how it would clean up, but I took a chance and it paid off. 3 days in the lye tank, a day in my 45 gallon eTank, and 3 rounds of Crisco @ 500 degrees and I'm thrilled with how it turned out.

Wow! That is one sharp looking pan. #13 to boot.

It appears darn near flawless.

The #13 is basically the hardest to find, I think. Thats one NICE skillet, you did an awesome job, and what a find..........

Thanks. The 13 is the "holy grail" to a lot of collectors and is hard to find, but there are other pieces that I think are more "rare".

I like Wapaks myself. I think the #13 was skipped for whatever reason. The Holy Grail to me, are the #14, and #12 Indian Head. This pan is just so nice to look at.....I mean, it looks new!

Thanks, I've probably restored over a thousand to date, and have found a process that gives results that I like.
