Griswold Wafer Iron?

Saw this in an auction. Never seen anything like it. I was bidding, but an internet connection failed and I missed it. I think the sold price was $120.

It's a Griswold KrumKake Iron. You will find a picture of an identical iron under Reference Topics/Waffle irons/Griswold KrumKake Iron Pattern Detail on this site. Click on the camera icon and it has a very similar if not exact picture of that KrumKake Iron with base. I think $120 might be a little high for an Iron without a base, but I'm really not up on turn of the century KrumKake Iron prices. I bought an Alfred Anderson Krumkake Kornukopia Iron with base for $35. about a year ago. Alfred Anderson farmed out his production to various foundries including Griswold, and this one had a Griswold number on the base.
 
Thanks for the info! With the tab being on just one side and the long handles, looking at waffle irons never occurred to me.
