Griswold with a Griswold ghost mark?

The BB shows a few examples of this phenomenon. It also fairly well debunks the notion that pans from Maker X with ghost marks of Maker Y were the result of Maker Y having sold their obsolete patterns to Maker X. Griswold "slant Erie" pans are seen with "Griswold's Erie" ghosts; slant EPU pans with slant Erie ghosts, etc. Patterns were expensive to make, and manufacturers wrung as much usage out of them as they could. Those who couldn't afford patterns used other makers' pans for their patterns.
The assumption on yours would be the ghost logo, although obscured, was the same slant logo, and that perhaps some unacceptable warping necessitated the need to add the reinforcing crossbars to the pattern. The additional markings are of the style that would become typical of later "large block logo" pieces.
