Growing inventory...

...whew...been a little overwhelmed by growing inventory recently and haven't posted much recently, so here's a short list of what I have acquired over the summer since my last post.

-Lodge #7 made 1940-1987, w/ 3 notch smoke ring skillet
I bought it at a local flea market for $20. I haven't seen any #7 of any brand until now. This is my first. It cleaned up nicely.

-Lodge #5 made 1940-1987, w/ 3 notch smoke ring skillet (inherited)
-Lodge #3 made 1940-1987 w/ 3 notch smoke ring skillet (inherited)
-Wagner Ware #1055, #5, 8” skillet 1925-1959 (inherited)
-Unmarked Wagner 10 ½ skillet marked w/ “Made in USA” – post 1960 (inherited)
This attached pic is the unmarked Wagner. Notice the small holes/pits. I don't know if these were rust pits or bubble holes during molding.
These cleaned up nicely too.

That's quite a bit of pitting for something that new. It could have sat in someone's shed or yard in the damp for a long while and ended up pitted like that. It won't hurt anything, especially when it's right side up and you're cooking up dinner :-D

RickC: yea, it's not too bad...still functional. It cleaned up nicely. Nice interior..can still see the circular machine marks.
