GW find yesterday

Hi, thanks for letting me join. I have a few cast iron skillets, Griswold, Wagner, BSR, Picqua, Lodge, Vollrath and many unmarked ones including my Mom's old skillet that she got from an Aunt around 1939 that has a gatemark on the bottom but nothing else. Yesterday I dropped off some stuff at GW and decided to walk in the store to look for old vinyl, another deadly hobby. I had to walk through the kitchen stuff to get there and I spied this skillet. I picked it up and turned it over and there was the gatemark. I put it in my buggy without a thought. Only marking on it is a 10 on the handle. It is 10" across the bottom, 11" across the top and 16" total including the handle. It is 1 3/4" deep. It has one small spout. Closest thing I have in size is a Wagner that weighs 6 lbs. This skillet weighs just a bit over 3lbs. The chef in the corporation is already eyeing it for duty. has hefted it around a bit and smiled. I have read that a lot of these old skillets have no makers marks so could be that it will never be known who made it. So here are some pictures in hopes that it will be identified. It was pretty cruddy so I cleaned it last night and have not started seasoning it. Any comments, suggestions are appreciated.
Michael

Its very hard to tell with gate marked skillets. Someone on here may have a name, but Ya never know. I love old skillets due to being thin and light.

Bidsboros are known to have what appear to be sprue marks, but not single pour lips.

I have one just like it but mine has an 8 with nothing else but the gate mark. I figured it was a southern mystery skillet.
