Halloween kettle

I found this huge kettle at a thrift store recently. It was seriously rusty. I scrubbed it well with vinegar and gave it only 1 night in a chilly lye tank and then seasoned. Next summer I will clean it right. The Le Crueset lid makes it look even more like Halloween to me.

Happy birthday to you if it is your birthday cake you were speaking of. I don't get to visit the grand kids today but my daughter sent a picture. Either they are going out trick or treating or they just like to sit around watching TV dressed as super hero's.

It's mine, I've had 56 cakes so far and I hope a few more to come. I haven't seen my grandsons yet today either but I'll bet they're dressed like your two. Good looking group Bonnie.

The big one is my son in law, he is a good sport. I haven't seen my granddaughters costume yet.
