Heart and star pan

I saw a recent thread on here about a heart and star pan and it reminded me of one I saw in a local store. This one has no markings but a gate mark across the star that is hard to spot. The cast is as smooth as can be. I was wondering if anyone had any info? The owner of the booth dates it to 1787, not sure where they got that. He is asking $135. Let me know your thoughts.

I thought the same. I have no Idea how he came up with that. It is a nice pan but 135 is way outside of what I can pay. I was just hoping to get some info.

That's a beautiful pan, Kyle. If you can get the seller to explain his dating of it, let us know. I can see 18th century in that, but it would be amazing for something that old to have survived in such a pristine condition. Wonder if the provenance is from family history? Thanks for sharing the pictures. I couldn't buy it for that price, but I'd love to own it.
