Heart Makers Mark?

I recently found a Lodge SK8 with 3 notches on the heat ring....there is what appears to be a small heart above the SK8....casting flaw?

It was a shift identifier Lodge used for a while.

I have a muffin pan with the heart on it also. That shift might have cared more about their work lol.

Thanks for the information. I kinda thought I read on here somewhere about either a shift change, or quality control.....now I know!
