Heart star waffle

I have read all of the info on this site and others, it is still sometimes difficult to tell if a piece is genuine. Which is why I wanted some ones opinion who has been collecting a long time.

It's genuine, but the price would only be good if it was already restored and had the base.

Over time, and after feeling and seeing different foundries pieces, you will get a good feeling if it is genuine or not.

Fakes come in all shapes & sizes, but mostly go for the Big $$ items.

Thanks Jeffrey. It appears from my very limited experience, of just starting to collect over the last year, and I haven't been burned yet is that its always better to pass on a piece than to pay too much for a fake or if the deal seems too good to be true it probably is.
