Help Dating Wagner Drip Drop #9 Lid

Hey there,

This weekend, I picked up this rusted, old Wagner skillet/DO lid for $5. After etank, it revealed few hidden secrets. Amid the rust pitting, I can scarcely make out what appears to be a handwritten seriel number or mold mark near the rim of the under-side. There is a #9 in the center.

The best I can figure is about 1920. Can someone help me better understand the age of this piece? It’ll look great on an old Wagner #9 of mine.

Thanks for looking/helping.

The "turtle top" Wagner DO lids are 1920s. Late 20s if marked with catalog number vs. just size number. The writing near the rim is the various patent dates for the concept and design of the basting elements. The first two are not Wagner patents, the second is actually a Griswold patent.
