Help ID this waffle iron.

I figure it's old, just by the design but know nothing about it. Anyone got any ideas?

The low profile base and "7&8" mean it was made for a wood stove, usable over either a #7 or #8 size stove eye. Many unmarked implements of this era (mid to late 1800s) were accessories provided by the stove manufacturers. As such, making an ID is much like finding a brush attachment and trying to determine what manufacturer's vacuum cleaner it came with.

That would be very hard to ID this. Its just OLD!.
