Help Identifying Stocking Holders

Can anyone help me identify these stocking holders? There are no markings on them and they weight 2 1/2 to 3 pounds each.
Are they cast iron, grandeur noel or possibly pewter?

Also, how would you describe the stocking holder with the women? I thought it was an angel, but she does not have wings.

Thanks for your help.

I have one of these, and it is made of cast iron. The one I have is an image of a moose.

Question, where did you learn that they are stocking holders? Not to question you just I never spent any time on it as it seems to new for me. Picked it up in a box lot.

They were identified as such in the store I purchsed them and when I searched on Ebay there were a lot of similar types like mine that were listed as stocking holders

TY.
Interesting, because I am not sure just what type of stockings this stocking holder holds. Is this a holder for the wife's stockings, or my Xmas stocking. Because it has no holes to be attached to something, so if it is for my Xmas stocking being filled with coal it would end up on the floor.

Just asking.

You could probably fit a small screw thru the openings to hang it. My guess is Christmas stockings.
