I bought this skillet at a flea market recently for $5. I cleaned it in lye tank for two weeks and seasoned it. It has a heat ring, marked #7 and on the back of the pan it has a number 2 on the handle and about the 6:30 position of the pan. Any idea of who made it or the age? It seems to be a well made skillet that I look forward to cooking in.

Help Identifying Unmarked Skillet

Kind of looks like something by an unknown maker copied from a pan by another maker. Wagner was known for sometimes having small numerals on the undersides of handles, but I don't recall seeing that on ones with unblended reinforcement ridges, nor anything like the 2 at 6:30. The markings most likely were added by the unknown.
