Help me with I.d.-ing this pan....

I bought this little pan and think I've figured out what it is but would like expert input. Sadly, the logo is almost worn away, but I'd like to know anything about it that's possible to know--date, etc.

unmarked Favorite or CHF

It appears to be an unmarked Favorite Ware with a ghost mark of a marked Favorite Ware. The logo wouldn't be worn off with the heat ring on this pan, and the #3 still clear. I actually picked up a skillet earlier this year with the same thing going on, except mine was a #3 unmarked Wagner with a ghost mark of a marked Wagner Ware.

It's a Favorite Piqua Ware , but it looks like an attempt to make it as an unmarked one .

Why do some pans have a ghost mark? I've seen pictures of them posted occasionally but don't know anything about them.
