Help with ID on my 5 qt DO

Hey guys, I've had this DO for a few years. Can't remember where I got it. I think I picked it up at an antique mall because it was cheap and I was looking for something to deep fry stuff in.

I search around in the forums, but the threads that seemed right, didn't have pictures. Anyway, I figure y'all will know what it is.

- the only marks are "5 QT" and an "E" on the bottom
- the bottom and the sides on the interior of the DO appear to have been ground
- of concern ... there is a spot on the inside wall of the pan where it appears to have been repaired. My concern is they filled in a pit with lead? (One of my grandmother's old griddles has the same thing.) The spot has a polished silver look to it and apparently doesn't take the seasoning well. (Although I didn't find the spots on my grandmother's griddle until I stripped off the old seasoning.)
- this pot is a user for me. It works and that's all I care about ... unless y'all tell me I shouldn't cook in it due to the spot of possible lead.

I think this will link to the album of pictures: https://imgur.com/a/5Ol9B

Thanks.

The machining process Wagner used in its later years left that swirl you see on the cooking surface. You could always use a lead test kit on it if you're worried about what the slag is, but I'd suspect it's Aluminum.
