Most often-seen unmarked CI can be identified here:

BSR, Red Mountain series. ~ 1930s-1940s. The S on this one indicates it's a slightly smaller size #3 they offered during that period. If it measures 6.25" top diam. by 1-3/16" tall, that would be the case.

A nice find! The fact that it is a smaller, rarer 3S size means it would fetch about three times as much as a standard size 3 at auction....
The hand scrawled markings indicate that it is from the earlier years of the Red Mountain production.
