Help with identification

So here's another piece that I can find any info on or seen another like it. I don't see any marks other than no 1. It has a heavy ring around the top of the pan that I'm not really sure of the purpose. This one has been in my family several generations and I still use it today. Any help would be appreciated.

It's the mid-section of a combination cooker. There were several makers, known and unknown. The covers on most doubled as shallow skillets, so it's not clear if this cover is a match or a marriage.

Thanks, wish I had the rest of it. I can't say as to the lid, this is the way It was passed down. The lid does match pretty much perfect with the pour spots. Thanks again for the help.
