How old is this bean pot?

We picked up a nice bean pot last week. We know its old because it's gate marked. My wife put a picture on a CI Facebook page and some responses suggest that it my be much older than we think. Someone suggested pre 1800. I'm too new with cast iron to even make an educated guess. So I'm asking you fine, experienced and educated CI collecting folks. How old do you think it is?

It's not that old. The inner surface shows no triple mould marks. The gate scar would be a rounded sprue mark, instead of an elongated gate scar. Get the gray book by John Tyler and compare the different mould marks.
