I.D. Help please...

Found this on a roadside fruit stand...never been able to ID it. It's a 6" heavy bottom skillet, any ideas? I can't really tell, but the outline appears to be possibly a rabbit with the stamp in the middle TGFF with the last F mirrored to the first. ...TIA!

I would guess import, perhaps Japanese pre-1960.

Interesting...what are the characteristics that distinguishes it as foreign esp. Japanese?

The handle just has an import look. I originally thought the pencil rubbing looked like a Japanese character, but maybe not.

It is made in Taiwan I see those all the time at flea market,long handle and #3 out of balance handle is heavier than the pan,
